With a deep-rooted passion for water resource management, particularly in the fragile ecosystems of the Himalayas, he has been instrumental in developing innovative strategies for sustainable water conservation.Holding a Master’s degree in Geography from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, a central university, Harsh has conducted extensive research on Participatory Springshed Management, focusing on water security in the Bhilangana block of Tehri Garhwal. His academic and fieldwork experience includes geographical investigations of critical Himalayan springs, emphasizing the importance of community-led conservation efforts.Under his leadership, IGIRF has emerged as a key player in addressing water security challenges, blending scientific research with grassroots initiatives. Harsh is committed to empowering local communities, enhancing climate resilience, and promoting ecological balance through sustainable water management practices. His work has been recognized in international seminars, and his research contributions are shaping policy discussions on water conservation in India.With expertise in Remote Sensing (RS) and GIS mapping, Harsh combines technology with traditional knowledge to develop efficient and sustainable water resource management models.
